The temptation to sin is a weapon satan fashions against people. In fashioning this weapon to fit his target, he studies their desires and brings them offers.
Jesus, in the wilderness, had a desire to eat, and satan offered him a means to fill his stomach.
There was nothing wrong in Jesus eating, but what was wrong was eating from the hands of satan.
Your desires can be right, but you need to be careful when you have desires for it at that point satan will come to you to make you an offer.
I know that you have a desire to be rich; it is not a wrong desire, but you need to be careful not to take satan’s offer to make you rich.
I know that you have a desire for your ministry to be known all over the world; that is not a wrong desire, but you need to be careful not to take satan’s offer to make your ministry known.
I know that you have a desire to be healed of that sickness; it is not a wrong desire, but you need to be careful not to take satan’s offer to heal you of that sickness.
You must never satisfy the desires of your heart through satan’s offers.
Only God can truly satisfy the desires of your heart. But to have God satisfy the desires of your heart, you must have faith in him and be patient for him to come through for you.
A man only falls into temptation when he allows satan to draw him away through his desire.
