God Has A Gift For You

GOD HAS A GIFT FOR YOU!

We live in a world where we are rewarded for our actions. It is a fundamental experience of human existence. The good things we do have rewards; the bad things we do have rewards. This obeys the law of sowing and reaping.

I want to bring your attention to the reward you receive for the bad things that you do. The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” Death is the reward our sins give us. A reality of life is that we can choose our actions, but we cannot choose the consequences of our actions.

Death, which is a reward for sin, is not the physical death that all men, whether good or evil experience. This death is a separation from the life of God in what is called “The Lake of Fire.” I know that you don’t want to spend your lifetime in the lake of fire.

God is gracious, and he does not want you to receive the reward for your sins. He created you to be with him forever, and so he cannot help watching you separated from him forever. He had to step in and bring a lasting solution to our sin problem and the consequence of our sins.

God came in the flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. Through his death on the cross, he identified with mankind in their sins and took upon himself the reward of our sins which is death. Jesus was separated from God so that you will not be separated from God. On the cross, just before he died, he shouted, “Father, Father, why have you forsaken me!” This was proof that Jesus successfully took our place in death.

Jesus was buried, and on the third day, he rose from the grave by the power of God. The death of Jesus was the forgiveness of our sins because he took our sins upon himself, and we no longer were regarded as sinners in that he died for us.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from eternal death was proof that our sins are no more: for in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we took on the righteousness of God. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)

Here is the gift God has for you – ETERNAL LIFE.

The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
— Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Eternal life is the nature of God. It is the righteousness of God that makes a man stand blameless before God. It is the power of God that sets man free from the bondage of sin. It is the authority from God that gives a man victory over satan and his demons.

While you have to work to receive the reward of sin; you do not have to work to receive the gift of God.

All you need to do to receive the gift of eternal life is believe that Jesus died for your sins and that he rose from the dead on the third day. It’s that simple – nothing complicated.

Here is what the Bible says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Here is another scripture that you will find interesting, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
— John 3:16 (KJV)

Do you want to receive the gift of eternal life?

I am glad you want to receive this precious gift from God.

Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins and that God raised him on the third day?

I am glad you believe these things.

Now, that you believe these things I have shared with you, I find it a rare honor to congratulate you on receiving eternal life. Through believing, the life of God has entered into you, and you are a new creature. You are not your sins anymore. You are the one God has loved and forgiven graciously.

Say this prayer with me:

“Lord Jesus! I believe you died for my sins. I believe God raised you on the third day. Thank you for giving me eternal life. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins even before I knew about your love for me. Thank you for accepting me as your own. I will live for you. Amen!”

The harvest is plenty, and all shall be reaped.
