You Should Judge Angels

Our reception of eternal life through the belief of the gospel elevated our existence above that of angels and humans who have not received the life of God.

You may have come across the verse of scripture where the Apostle Paul stated that those who have received eternal life will judge angels.

I want to take you through a quick revelatory study of that text. But first, let’s take a look at the text for a moment.

“Know ye not that we shall judge angels?”
— 1 Corinthians 6:3 (KJV)

The sons of God are charged with the responsibility of judging angels for the things they did in the world that was and in the world that is.

To accurately judge angels, you must have a revelation of the nature and purpose of God as revealed in Christ. The revelation of God’s nature and purpose will equip you with the intelligence and authority to discern angelic activities and restrict or permit them.

What does it mean to judge angels?

To judge angels is to discern their activities in the light of God’s nature and purpose, and consequently restrict fallen angels and permit standing angels.

Our sonship gave us dominion over all angels. I didn’t make that up; the scripture speaks about our dominion over angels.

“Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”
— 1 Peter 3:22 (KJV)

Hebrews 1 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
⁴ Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

⁶ And again, when he bringeth in the first-begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”
— Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)

Ephesians 1 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
²² And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
²³ Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

When you fail to judge angels, you will permit fallen angels to mess up your life. Also, when you refuse to judge angels, you will hinder the ministry of standing angels.

Do not permit those you should restrict, and do not restrict those you should permit. Judge angels accurately.
